The Intimus Power 16.87 (1/4") industrial strip cut shredder baler system shredder can simultaneously shred and bale, reducing staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks, binders, and up to 420 documents at a time to 1/4" strips and packing resulting particles into space-efficient bales with sealed plastic coverings. Audible signals indicate when a bale is complete, and auto reverse will reverse material flow to prevent or reverse a jam. A variety of safety measures are also in place, including a central lockable switch, straps for securing bales, a safety switch for the ejector opening, another safety switch for the bale ejection opening, and a wide emergency stop bar.
