Description of the Intimus Pro 175 CC6 Cross Cut Shredder
The Intimus Pro 175 CC6 high security shredder meets and exceeds NSA/CSS specification 02-01 for level 6 high security shredders. This model is the most heavy-duty of the Intimus Pro high security line of shredders, capable of shredding 9-10 sheets at once into 0.8mm x 4.5mm (approximately 1/32" x 11/64") particles. This shredder also has mounted rollers that enable convenient mobility, as well as a robust wooden cabinet and dust-free operation capability. A free auto oiler only makes things better, eliminating the mess of manually oiling the shredder. Advanced technological implements include "i-control," which monitors and controls all aspects of the machine and uses backlit icons to communicate the shredder's needs and problems to the user. It is also the control pad where users can program other details, such as the "EcoLogic" energy saving feature, which shuts down all electrical consumption by the shredder after a certain time of idling specified by the user elapses. "Silentec" features technology built into the shredder that partially muffles the sound of the shredder operating. The "Dynamic Load Sensor" feature uses a green/yellow/red light system to inform the user of the danger level of the paper being fed into the shredder. Green light indicates that the level of paper is safe; a yellow light indicates that the level of paper could cause a jam; and a red light indicates the certainty of such a jam happening, and signals Auto Reverse to interfere and eject the material from the cutters.
