Description of the Intimus Pro 120 CC4 Cross Cut Shredder
The Intimus Pro 120 CC4 cross cut shredder allows for both speedy and extra-secure destruction of sensitive information. With a slightly higher cutting speed than the 120CC3 model, this shredder will reduce up to 17 sheets of paper at a time into 5/64" x 19/32" particles, more than 4 times smaller than the particle size for the 120CC3. The 120CC4 will also shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks. The 120CC4 also incorporates a number of recently-developed technological features. "I-control" features a pad of backlit icons, each of which light up when the machine detects a certain internal issue, such as when the bin is open or full. The "EcoLogic" and "2 x 2" features are at once environmentally- and financially friendly; "EcoLogic" will shut down all power consumption by the shredder after a certain amount of inactivity, set by the user, and "2 x 2" sorts shredded particles into recyclable and non-recyclable piles, encouraging proper disposal of both piles. "Silentec" technology cancels much of the operation noise, minimizing disruption to the immediate work environment. "DLS" (Dynamic Load Sensor) cues green, yellow, or red light when the user feeds in material to reflect whether the amount of material being fed is appropriate, uncomfortable, or decidedly dangerous, respectively. These technological features, combined with mounted mobility rollers, the durability of this model, and the extra level of security provided by level 4 shredders, make the 120CC4 an ideal addition to an office or department handling extra-sensitive materials.
